A Call From Heaven

She stood silently on the path of virtue.
A path that just led her nowhere.
Drifting in tranquility towards Paradise,
Thoroughly washed with affection and care.
Her eyes sparkled at the two beaming eyes,
That studied her, hidden at a far - off distance.
She walked subconsciously towards them with a flawless face,
That rejuvenated her mundane existence.
She didn't realize about her unknown fallacy.
And she moved closer and closer.
But then the hidden eyes frantically disappeared,
As they saw her deceptively coming nearer.
A gush of the cold wind blew,
And she stopped and looked around restlessly.
Her searching eyes revealed the sudden action.
Yet she walked towards the long - awaited destination steadily.
Voices started to reverberate nearby.
Her eye just let fall a drop of tear.
To quell her emotions and the grief,
She gulped down her intimidating fear.
Still with the turmoil of thoughts in her mind.
She stood humbly like an angel from above.
As calm as she could be in that tranquil place,
And as peaceful as a debonair dove.
She returned home with dazing memories.
Yet didn’t get a chance to reveal them.
A place in the solitary world, she lived in.
She looked blankly at the dark sky, blaming her secret for her phlegm.
Time progressed but she didn't.
She climbed up the ladder to misfortune.
Alas! Mortality crossed her way.
She willingly said "Good - bye" to the solitary world too soon.
The heavenly call that had attracted her,
Even after years, reminded the lone maiden.
She thought of that old ancient god in disguise,
As she proceeded for her shift to the Garden Of Eden.
