World Book Day

It's the #WorldBookDay. We're so consumed by technology that what was supposed to be a tool of comfort has now become an absolute necessity, and we revel in the times where good literature has been redefined to mean anecdotes in the archives of history.

Reading has become a dinosaur; ergo I planned on finishing off atleast one novel this summer. This temporary epiphany from technology to aesthetic reading is to nurture and build foundations on knowledge that is not fleeting.

A couple of days back, I ordered this book on Amazon, after I read rave reviews about it. Enthralling and intellectually stimulating, this book has an unparalleled style of writing. So I give it a massive thumbs up. Cheers! 

Cruising..

The Chaophraya Cruise, well tonight.  
An evening to cherish, did they invite.
Pre cruise delight,
'twas quite the artistic sight.
Ostentatious artwork designed to ignite.
Je ne sais quoi of the night.
Finally, aboard the cruise, at 50° Fahrenheit.
The beauty of the stars, infinite..
The music that flows with the appetite.
Joy and harmony that unite.
Au contraire, did the gales affright!
Nonetheless, the dance set the mood right.
The evening under the skylight.
Gazing upon the moon that white.
Full, radiant and very very bright. 
Family, pals and I, the tripartite. 
Time to go, oh alright!
See you again, hope we might.
